Bass down low

I don't even know how it happened, I really don't,
six months of saying never again,
a twenty minute conversation and bam words come out
of my mouth and then I'm all wide-eyed and shocked
and I'm sure he sees but he keeps talking and he doesn't
say it back and I think what makes me annoyed the most
is I know in a week he will and I don't want him to.
