Sunday Ramblings

Sunday always seems to be the dandiest day to waffle on about what's happening in the life of Siobhan. (I just spelled my name with a V then. I know that would be phonetically correct, but really, I've been writing my name for quite some time now...)
Usually Sundays tend to be sunny and dandy, but today it's rather overcast, and it's either spitting or the flatmate in the room above me in dangling washing out her window, I'm not entirely sure.

I'm really looking forward to going home.
It's crazy that almost a whole year has gone, it feels like I only started here yesterday. That kinda scares me a little. I'm a quarter of the way through my degree, and occasionally I wonder if perhaps I should actually be doing human nutrition. I don't want to change too late and be stuck here for yonks.
I just don't know. Anyone who knows me knows that I am terrible at making decisions. I love studying physical education, but I'm also very interested in nutrition, and I feel like I'd prefer a job in dietetics. But then I'd have to take a whole lot more complicated science-y papers, and sometimes I wonder if perhaps I'll end up actually using my Bachelor of Arts that I'm also doing.
Hmm, I say.
And then there's the dilemma of whether I should do summer school. It'd be nice to get a paper out of the way before next year, but then I also lose six weeks of summer in Christchurch in exchange for sixs weeks of.... a lame excuse for summer in chilly Dunedin.

Je ne sais pas.

I'm really excited to go back to work.
It's been very strange not having a permanent job this past year. For the last few years I've had two jobs at once. I like working, it's cool to be able to do something and not worry about doing it wrong. Just talk, work, and earn cash.

I can't wait to swim! And cook! And bake! And paint! And write!

When I get home I have about two weeks before I start work, so this time instead of being at a loss for what to do with myself, I will sew and paint and write like there's no tomorrow.

There's so much to look forward to, but first I have to get this last exam out of the way! I'm hoping I'll have some really productive study days this week.

I hope everyone's Sundays are splendid.

P.S. I get to see this wonderful Missy when I go home!

Just a random thingy, If you do chem191, and bioc192 it could help you decide, perhaps cels192, they're essential nutrition papers and really interesting... well maybe not chem191 (Bioc was my favourite paper for semester 2 and Cels192, and Tony Zaharic is an amazing lecturer!)
