Theme Thursday - Triangle

The only thing I can think of here is love triangles.
And there sure seems to be a hell of a lot of them at my age.
All these relationships, someone falls for another.
Someone in a relationship has eyes for another.
Someone outside of the relationship desires what isn't their's.

You know, some people say that this is just what happens in young relationships.
Particularly younger than my age, say, the fourteen and fifteen year olds, you know, the ones who mostly only have two day to two week 'relationships' anyway.

But then of course, some of it continues as the years go by.

People wonder what they're missing out on.
They decide to find out.
I feel as though, if it all happens like this now, why should we expect people to change?

It's the same with the bitchiness at high school.
If these girls still can't learn to keep secrets now, if they can't learn that when you talk behind someone's back they will know, then when will they ever learn?
And the nosiness of some people!

Pardon me, I'm rambling.

Both relationships and friendships seem complicated in my life.

I would comment more if I felt I could, but I am awfully tired,
and I feel as though it may incite some comments that I honestly do not want to have to be enraged by right now.

Excellent rambling, and observations as well. I watch the romantic gyrations of my granddaughter on FaceBook, and I can't help but think these kids are missing something by moving from being "in love" with this one to that one to the next one and the one after that, almost as fast as I can type it here.
