Haven't seen you around in a while

He held his breath whenever she walked into a room.

There was something about her, something so expressive, so turbulent, yet so-
restrained.

Yes, he knew that didn't make sense, but that was how it seemed.
As though she was full of some kind of life and vitality that she wasn't quite ready to share with the world, but he desperately wanted to be a part of it, and perhaps she was just on the verge of disclosing it.

And her smile.

It was not comparable to any other.
It was the sort of smile that made you feel as though you were the only important thing in the world, the only person she cared for, that she would want nothing more than to spend the rest of her days with you, that, perhaps, she would let you in on that wild heart of hers-
Yet he had a niggling feeling that she had that effect on everyone.
And that she knew it.

No matter, because any trace of doubt would disappear when her lips turned up at the corners, when her eyes began to sparkle-

And then he would be unable to resist her once again.

Thank you, I'm really quite the procrastinator actually, I should be finishing writing my seminar on George and Myrtle in the Great Gatsby! And I'm curious as to where you think this is going :P
