Theme Thursday - Bicycle

So they say life is like riding a bicycle. (Well, in this case, Albert Einstein says that.) To keep your balance, you have to keep moving.
Now, I really don't know how balanced I am.
But my life is ticking over, I'm moving on to new things all the time.
But, I don't know if I'm leaving other things behind.
See, if I keep travelling with things that I don't need anymore, will my life become unbalanced?
No, actually, I'm certain it will.
I'm an indecisive young girl, and so I find it hard to finish things and begin things.
I'm really not sure about leaving school.
And I think this reflects one of the reasons why I find it hard to make decisions too; a part of me is scared of responsibility.
I don't want to make the wrong decisions, so I feel safer making no decisions at all.
And, I've known this for a while, I'm terrified of failure.
But, I think I just need to get on my bike, and carry on, wherever that may take me.
France, Dunedin, England, America, Tahiti, wherever.
But I may need to leave some things behind.

My grandad used to say "You can't take it with you when you go . . " of course he was talking about material things. Change is good, sometimes painful but good. . .take a risk. I wish I had.
